Edition 2025 — Trees on the Move – Monte Barigazzo

In 2025, the «Alberi in Cammino» project, conceived by Gabriele Parrillo and promoted by the Festival della Lentezza, continued to bring its travelling performances to the woods of the Emilian and Parma Apennines. Among the stages of the season, the encounters in the shade of ancient trees combined theatre, poetry, dance, and live music, confirming a formula that has been walking alongside the 'mother trees' of the region since 2021.

The 2025 edition of «Alberi in Cammino» continued the path initiated in 2021 by Gabriele Parrillo with the Festival della Lentezza, offering travelling performances in the woods between Parma and the Emilian Apennines. The events, each dedicated to a different tree, led the audience to walk alongside the performers, intertwining acting, dance, and live music in the shade of beeches, oaks, and other ancient giants.

The free, reservation-based format, featuring Parrillo's voice, Cora Steinsleger's dance, and Daniela Savoldi's music, laid the groundwork for the «Verde Smeraldo» cycle in 2026 and its stage on Monte Barigazzo, in the Municipality of Varsi (Emilia-Romagna).
