Vercelli Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Carvè renewed the ancient carnival tradition of Vercelli, in the heart of Piedmont. As every year, the festival opened with the symbolic handing over of the city keys to the Bicciolano and Bèla Majin masks, who guided the festivities until Ash Wednesday.

Once again, the protagonists were the large allegorical papier-mâché floats, created by neighborhood groups and local associations, which paraded through the streets of the center amidst music, colors, and masks. Faithful to its nature as a charitable carnival, the Carvè continued its solidarity initiatives for the most vulnerable in 2025, confirming itself as one of the most deeply felt popular festivals in the Province of Vercelli.
