Edition 2025 — Verbália

The first edition of Verbália took place on May 24 and 25, 2025, at Villa Giulia in Pallanza. This new cultural festival promoted by the Municipality of Verbania featured meetings with prominent national intellectuals and musical performances, marking the debut of an event dedicated to the debate of ideas on Lake Maggiore. Free admission for all events.

Verbália 2025: the first edition

The festival debuted on the weekend of May 24 and 25, 2025, at Villa Giulia in Pallanza. Saturday, May 24, featured the meetings "A Path to History" with Franco Cardini and "Against Single-Mindedness" with Francesco Borgonovo, followed in the evening by a violin and piano concert at the Church of San Leonardo. Sunday, May 25, included "A Dive into the Venice Biennale" with Pietrangelo Buttafuoco and Luigi Mascheroni, and a meeting with Giovanni Sallusti on the contemporary West. Moderated by Gianluca Veneziani. Free admission.
