2025 Edition
On August 22, 2025, the municipality of Torrebruna, in the province of Chieti, was part of the Ventricina & Bollicine 2025 circuit, which that year also included Scerni (July 26) and Pollutri (early September). The evening, dedicated to Ventricina del Vastese and local sparkling wines, went ahead despite bad weather: the organizers chose not to cancel the event and instead moved the tastings and music under a marquee.
The event, promoted by the Association of Ventricina del Vastese Producers with the patronage of the Abruzzo Region, showcased the flavors and traditions of the Vastese area with the participation of local municipal administrations, including Torrebruna's mayor, Francesco Troilo. The success of the 2025 edition laid the foundation for the project's expansion, which in 2026 led the festival to involve six villages in the district.
