Venice Historical Regatta

The 2025 Historical Regatta was held on Sunday, September 7th, on Venice's Grand Canal. On Thursday, September 4th, at 5:00 PM, the water procession started from the Erbaria di Rialto towards Santa Maria della Salute for the blessing of the boats and the presentation of the crews at Campo della Salute.

On Sunday, at 3:10 PM, the historical parade began along the Grand Canal with costumed figures, followed by the regattas: the youth categories (maciarele, schie, giovanissimi), the six-oared caorline, the women's regatta on mascarete, and the concluding gondolini regatta. The event was broadcast live on Rai 2 starting at 5:15 PM.
