Edition 2025 — Veni Vidi Film Festival

In 2025, the Veni Vidi Film Festival took its first steps as a cinematic project dedicated to Rome's Municipio II, promoted by the La Galleria delle Arti association. The initiative aimed to bring short films, documentaries, and independent cinema to the cultural spaces of the San Lorenzo district, with screenings and meetings aimed at the Roman public. A cultural bet that sought to give visibility to emerging authors in the heart of the Capital.

The origins of the Veni Vidi Film Festival

The Veni Vidi Film Festival was born in 2025 as a neighborhood cinema project designed for Rome's Municipio II and promoted by the La Galleria delle Arti association, a multifunctional space in the San Lorenzo district. The initiative was part of Roma Capitale's policies for the dissemination of cinema in the city's neighborhoods and in the Lazio region.

The proposal focused on short films, documentaries, and independent cinema works, with the goal of offering a showcase for emerging authors and bringing the Roman public closer to new auteur cinema. A first step that laid the foundations for subsequent editions of the festival.
