Venetico Grape Harvest Festival

The twelfth edition of the Venetico Grape Harvest Festival was held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM, in Piazza Immacolata in Venetico Superiore (ME). The event, promoted by the "Venetico per tutti" Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Venetico, featured the customary setup of the palmento in the square, where adults and children could try their hand at grape treading, as well as visits to the village's ancient palmento.

Among the most applauded events were the Barrel Race, the fire show with Nino Scaffidi, the comedy show with Denny Napoli, and the folk music of the "I Cariddi" group from Messina. Tastings of hot grape mustard, sausage sandwiches, maccheroni alla norma, and local wine were, as always, a highlight. The "Stefano D'Arrigo" Comprehensive Institute, the Pro Loco, and the Christian Workers Movement collaborated on the organization.
