Edition 2025 — Venere Contadina

For years, the Casale dei Cedrati in the Villa Doria Pamphilj park in Rome has served as a hub for urban regeneration and rural culture in the capital's green heart. It is within this context, between the Giardino dei Cedrati dedicated to the goddess Venus and its historic citrus-growing tradition, that the development project which later became the Venere Contadina festival matured.

Before the 2026 edition, the Casale dei Cedrati at Villa Doria Pamphilj in Rome (Lazio) had already solidified its identity as a place dedicated to the city's agricultural memory. The Giardino dei Cedrati, with its twelve citrus varieties linked to Slow Food Presidia, and the restoration of the historic 19th-century greenhouses laid the cultural groundwork from which Venere Contadina was born.

The theme of Rome's agricultural vocation, landscape, and farm-to-table production is at the center of the Casale's activities, which are open to meetings, workshops, and tastings for families and visitors. This wealth of initiatives paved the way for the festival's debut in the heart of Villa Pamphilj.
