Vasto Rowing Palio 2025
The 2025 edition of the Vasto Rowing Palio renewed the tradition of the great ten-oared longboat regatta in the waters of Vasto, in the province of Chieti. As every year, the race was included in the FICSF national championship calendar for fixed-seat rowing, with men's and women's crews competing in morning heats and afternoon finals.
Organized by the La Ciurma di Vasto rowing association in collaboration with the municipality, the event maintained its connection to the Antonio Ritucci Memorial, dedicated to the founder of the association. The day of races, followed by the public along the beach, concluded with the awards ceremony for the crews, confirming the deep-rooted maritime culture within the Vasto community.
