Vasto d'Autore 2025: "The words to say it"

The fourth edition of the Vasto d'Autore Festival enlivened the summer in Vasto, in the province of Chieti, with a lineup of sixteen guests across ten dates, attracting over 3,500 attendees. The guiding theme, "Le parole per dirlo" (The words to say it), inspired evenings of books, readings, and lectio magistralis at the Giardini di Palazzo d'Avalos and other city locations.

Guests and events

June previews featured Peter Gomez, Stefano Bartezzaghi, and other authors. Guests during the main July days included Antonio Preziosi, Matteo Porru, Paolo Di Paolo, Alessia Gazzola, and actress Aurora Ruffino. On July 11, the Arena Ennio Morricone hosted Aldo Cazzullo and Moni Ovadia with "Il romanzo della Bibbia," while on August 1, Vasto Marina welcomed Natasha Stefanenko and Paride Vitale. This edition solidified the festival as a fundamental part of the city's cultural offerings.
