Vastedda cu Sammucu Festival

The 27th edition of the Vastedda cu Sammucu Festival took place on June 14 and 15, 2025, in the historic center of Troina, in the province of Enna. At the stands set up for the occasion, visitors were able to enjoy vastedda cu sammucu along with 'nfasciatieddi, baked sweets made with prickly pear cooked wine, and other typical local products.

The program included excursions, tours of the historic center, street performances, music, cabaret, and traditional show cooking. The parades of folk groups along the festival route were particularly appreciated: the "Bulgarani" from Sofia, the "ZUS Malacky" from Slovakia, and the "A Musetta" group from Troina, highlighting the international scope of a festival deeply rooted in the Nebrodi tradition.
