Vasanello Film Festival "Sandro Ricci"

2025 Edition: Massimo Boldi guest of honor

From May 23 to 25, 2025, the Cinema Albertone in Vasanello hosted the third edition of the festival, with 68 short films in competition between the youth section, reserved for high school students, and the Open section for emerging directors and professionals. The shorts, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, addressed themes dear to the festival: respect for diversity, the environment, human rights, and cultural heritage.

The technical jury was chaired by director Andrea Barzini, supported by a popular jury for the Open section and student jurors for the youth section. On Sunday, May 25, guest of honor Massimo Boldi met the public and presented the awards: "While True" won in the youth section, with acting awards going to Francesca Pelicella and Federico Misale; in the Open section, the Irish film "Room Taken" prevailed, while Giorgio Colangeli was awarded best actor for "Tutto quello che non ti ho detto". Prizes included €2,000 for the youth section and €4,000 for the Open section.
