Edition 2025 — Valle d'Itria Randonnée

The fifth edition of the Valle d'Itria Randonnée took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, starting from the Foro Boario in Ostuni. The route, a 200 km brevet recognized by ARI/BRI, measured approximately 214 kilometers with 2,712 meters of elevation gain and a maximum time of 13 hours and 30 minutes. There were five refreshment checkpoints along a counter-clockwise loop through the trulli of Alberobello and Locorotondo and the Adriatic coast. Registration was limited to 300 participants.

2025 Valle d'Itria Randonnée

The 5th edition of the Valle d'Itria Randonnée was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with meeting and staggered departures from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Foro Boario in Ostuni. The route, valid as an ARI/BRI 200 km brevet, featured a loop of approximately 214 kilometers and 2,712 meters of elevation gain, to be completed within a maximum time of 13 hours and 30 minutes.

The track, ridden in a counter-clockwise direction, crossed the heart of the Valle d'Itria, touching the trulli sites of Alberobello and Locorotondo, before descending toward the Adriatic coast from Torre Canne to Rosa Marina and returning to Ostuni. Along the route, there were five refreshment checkpoints, and registration was limited to a maximum of 300 participants. The event, organized by the Bici Club Ostuni, is part of the Rando Tour della Magna Grecia circuit.

  • Long route: approx. 214 km, 2,712 m elevation gain, counter-clockwise
  • Crossing the Valle d'Itria: Locorotondo, Alberobello (trulli), ancient olive groves
  • Adriatic coastal stretch: from Torre Canne to Rosa Marina, up to the Piana dei Millenari
  • 5 checkpoints with refreshments along the route
  • Maximum time: 13 hours and 30 minutes
  • Shortened route of approx. 100 km for those tackling shorter distances

Regulated cycling event, non-competitive and without rankings: the goal is to complete the brevet within the maximum time.

Online registration: €25.00 (non-members), €22.50 (ARI members). On-site registration: €30.00. Registration open from June 21 to September 20, 2025, maximum 300 participants.
