Valeria Moriconi Award – Protagonist of the Stage

The fifth edition of the Valeria Moriconi Award took place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the G.B. Pergolesi Theatre in Jesi. The award was presented to Elena Bucci, an actress and director who has won the Eleonora Duse Award, two Ubu Awards, and two Hystrio Awards.

The award was presented to her at the end of the performance “Canto alle vite infinite”, an original creation by Bucci herself with live piano and accordion accompaniment by Christian Ravaglioli, a tribute to Romagna and the areas affected by the flood. The “Future of the Stage” award was given to Marina Occhionero. The evening confirmed the format that combines auteur theatre and the memory of the great actress from Jesi, celebrating the role of women on stage.
