Valeggio Veste il Vintage enlivens the historic center of Valeggio sul Mincio, in the province of Verona, twice a year: one Sunday in spring (usually in May) and one in autumn (usually the first Sunday in October). The streets and squares of the village, starting from Piazza Carlo Alberto, fill with stalls and umbrellas for a day that is a market, exhibition, and community celebration all in one.

The over fifty selected exhibitors offer vintage clothing, tailored dresses from the Fifties, American jewelry, accessories, home decor, antiques, and unique design pieces. Strolling among the stalls means traversing different eras and styles, among rare garments and objects that tell the story of another Italy. Over the years, the event has become a reference point for stylists, fashion editors, and costume scholars seeking inspiration.
Between fashion and taste on the Mincio
The village of Valeggio sul Mincio is famous for its food and wine excellences: the renowned tortellini, the wines from the morainic hills, and the offerings from restaurants, pasta makers, and wineries accompany the day with a delicious break between purchases. Admission is free, and the village's location just a few kilometers from Lake Garda makes it a perfect destination for a Sunday of culture, shopping, and good food. The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Valeggio sul Mincio.

The two 2026 editions
In 2026 too, Valeggio Veste il Vintage maintains its double annual appointment. The spring edition was held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in the historic center of Valeggio sul Mincio, with over fifty selected exhibitors who transformed the streets and squares of the village into a large open-air retro market: vintage clothing, accessories, design objects, and antiques, accompanied by the gastronomic excellences of the territory.
The autumn edition is expected in October 2026, traditionally on the first Sunday of the month, with the same formula. Admission is free.

How to get there
Valeggio sul Mincio can be reached by car from the A4 motorway (Peschiera del Garda or Sommacampagna exit) or the A22 motorway (Mantova Nord/Affi exit). Parking is available near the center. By train, the nearest station is Peschiera del Garda, with onward bus connections.
