Valduggia Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Valduggia Carnival confirmed the strength of a tradition that has been running uninterrupted in Valduggia, in the province of Vercelli, since 1955. As is customary, the festival opened with the arrival of the historic masks King Zors and Marjin and the symbolic handing over of the town keys.

In the following weeks, the neighborhoods of Valduggia and its hamlets enlivened parades and dance parties, while traditional gastronomy — primarily tripe and beans — accompanied the convivial moments. The carnival concluded, as tradition dictates, with the torchlight procession, the reading of the will, the awarding of the Palio, and the burning of King Zors.
