A month of jazz amidst the UNESCO World Heritage Prosecco hills
The ValdobbiadeneJazz Festival is the event that every spring brings great improvised music to Valdobbiadene and the towns of the Valdobbiadenese area, in the province of Treviso, right in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG hills declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Born to celebrate both music and the territory, the festival has established itself as one of the most original jazz events in the Veneto region.
The strength of ValdobbiadeneJazz lies in its division into several sections, each with a distinct identity:
The headquarters is the C. Piva Auditorium in Valdobbiadene, complemented by Piazza Marconi for outdoor concerts. But the festival extends to neighboring towns—Quero, Miane, Follina, Solighetto—embracing the entire hilly landscape. Organized by the Consorzio delle Pro Loco del Valdobbiadenese UNPLI APS, it enjoys the support of the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG and the Association for the World Heritage of the Prosecco Hills UNESCO.
What makes ValdobbiadeneJazz special is the encounter between jazz and one of Italy's most beautiful wine-growing landscapes. The International Jazz Day on April 30th, celebrated in Piazza Marconi, is one of the symbolic moments of this dialogue between musical culture and the territory's identity.
The eighth edition of the ValdobbiadeneJazz Festival enlivened the Prosecco hills for a whole month, from April 18 to May 17, 2026, alternating concerts, artistic residencies, and school workshops between Valdobbiadene and the neighboring towns.
The program blended training for the younger generation with the presence of great international soloists, confirming the festival's commitment to fostering dialogue between music and the landscape in the UNESCO World Heritage Prosecco Superiore DOCG territory.
C. Piva Auditorium, Valdobbiadene. Performances by middle schools (April 18) and music high schools in the area (April 19), under the direction of Prof. Fabio Dalla Vedova.
