Val Nure and Chero Festival 'Splinters of History' (opening in Vigolzone)

The 2025 edition of the Val Nure and Chero Festival 'Splinters of History' confirmed the review's growth, with a calendar extended from June 7 to September 7 in the villages of the Val Nure, in the province of Piacenza. The festival featured major figures in journalism and culture — from Paolo Mieli to Francesco Costa, from Gene Gnocchi to Giordano Bruno Guerri — alongside concerts, excursions, and food and wine tastings.

The Municipality of Vigolzone was a highlight with its music: on June 21, singer-songwriter Mario Venuti performed in Piazza del Castello, while on July 20, the Val Bonetti Quartet offered a swing evening in Borgo Caminata. The review concluded on September 7 in Ponte dell'Olio with a show by Elio. With the exception of some special events, most of the events were free admission.
