Vacone Autumn Festival

The 2025 edition of the Vacone Autumn Festival took place on Sunday, October 26, in the Il Pago locality, confirming the formula that has combined autumn flavors and conviviality since 1999: polenta, grilled sausages, chestnuts, new wine, and an orchestra that accompanied the banquet until dusk, along with stalls of typical Sabine products.

The day had a special character because it coincided with the fifth edition of Vacunalia, the contemporary art exhibition titled «Sottosopra Sottobosco», curated by Niccolò Giacomazzi and Carlota Rel with the support of the Fons Olei Foundation, Fugu Project, and the Municipality and Pro Loco of Vacone. The artistic program opened at 11:30 AM with a sound ritual by Gabriel Fischer, continued at 3:30 PM with a choreography by Serena Zaccagnini, and closed at 5:00 PM with a film screening including the short film «Pneuma», while a permanent installation by Gabriele Giugni, designed to connect the village and the Pago, was inaugurated in the woods.
