Edition 2025 — Va' Sentiero Fest

From August 5 to 8, 2025, the Va' Sentiero Fest stopped in Scontrone, in the Alto Sangro, as part of the edition dedicated to the territory between Molise and Abruzzo (July 27 - August 8). From Scontrone, the caravan of hikers continued towards Pescasseroli, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, featuring free trekking, cultural encounters, and evenings in the villages.

The 2025 edition of the Va' Sentiero Fest took place from July 27 to August 8 along ten stages that, starting from Campitello Matese, crossed Molise and Abruzzo up to Pescasseroli. The stage involving Scontrone (AQ) was held between August 5 and 8, with the final arrival in the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.

The expedition-festival, supported by main sponsor Montura and in collaboration with the Italian Touring Club and the Orange Flag villages, offered free hikes open to everyone, accompanied by a calendar of cultural meetings with explorers and guides such as Lorenzo Barone, Valeria Barbi, and Klaus, as well as a discussion on the future of inland areas and the Highlands with Slow Food. Foraging activities, orienteering, and community moments enriched the passage through the Alto Sangro villages.
