URTIcanti Contemporary Music Festival

The twentieth edition

In 2025, URTIcanti celebrated its first twenty years with fifteen events between August 27 and September 30, distributed across the Castello Baronale Caracciolo in Cellamare, the Vallisa in Bari, and the "Gianni Lenoci" Association in Monopoli. The edition was ideally dedicated to Malcolm X on the centenary of his birth.

Notable guests included singer Greta Panettieri, composer Ivan Fedele, flutist Mario Caroli, and violinist Francesco D'Orazio, alongside the Syntax Ensemble and the Eidos percussion ensemble. The program combined concerts, composition masterclasses, and electronic improvisation workshops. The festival was promoted by the Diapason Association of Bari with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Puglia Region, and the Municipality of Bari.

September 28, 2025 — Vallisa, Bari

Concert dedicated to Ivan Fedele with the SYNTAX ENSEMBLE conducted by Pasquale Corrado. Program: Immagini da Escher (2005), Paroles y Palabras (2000), Suite Francese VI b (2011-2014), and Maja (1988).
