Edition 2025 — Ursino Buskers

The eleventh edition of Ursino Buskers took place from September 25th to 28th, 2025, around the Castello Ursino in Catania, with the theme "Streets of resistance, places of community." Four days of free street arts shows, with dozens of circus companies, over 40 performances per day, workshops, activities for children (Ursino Kids), exhibitions, talks, street markets, and street food, distributed across numerous thematic areas of the San Cristoforo district.

Ursino Buskers 2025: the eleventh edition

From September 25th to 28th, 2025, the San Cristoforo district, around the Castello Ursino in Catania, hosted the eleventh edition of Ursino Buskers, with the theme "Streets of resistance, places of community": an invitation to share public space and regenerate the city through collective beauty.

The program, curated by the Gammazita association, distributed the shows across numerous thematic areas, with dozens of circus companies and over forty free performances every day. Alongside the shows, the festival offered creative and manual workshops, Ursino Kids activities for children, exhibitions, talks, and debates, as well as street market and street food areas.

The opening, on Thursday, September 25th, featured a grand inaugural parade accompanied by the Sambazita percussion orchestra, followed by the Opening Party. As per tradition, all shows were free, with a voluntary "hat" contribution to support the artists.
