Urban Park of the Cellars of Rapolla

The 21st edition of the Urban Park of the Cellars of Rapolla was held on October 11 and 12, 2025. The Vulture village opened the doors of its rock-hewn cellars dug into the tuff of Fosso Tiglio and Via Monastero, illuminated by thousands of candles, for an itinerary featuring Aglianico del Vulture, roasted chestnuts, mushrooms, and autumn vegetables. The program included the medieval pageant from Piazza Garibaldi with falconers, flag-throwers, and dancers, Slow Food workshops on cheeses from the Vulture Natural Park, a masterclass on Aglianico curated by the Regional Wine Bar, and the traditional barefoot grape treading, confirming its reputation as one of the most beautiful autumn festivals in Basilicata.
