Under the Stars of Austria 2025
The 2025 edition of the festival, curated by Stefano Finesi, was held from June 18 to July 8 in the garden of the Austrian Cultural Forum Rome, at Viale Bruno Buozzi 113. Six evenings were on the bill, all with free admission upon reservation, featuring films in the original language with Italian subtitles.
The festival opened with The Devil's Bath by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, presented at the 2024 Berlinale, and featured titles such as Mond by Kurdwin Ayub, the documentary Girls & Gods, and Gina by Ulrike Kofler. The closing night on July 8 hosted a meeting with director Marie Luise Lehner. An edition that once again successfully brought new Austrian cinema to the green heart of Rome, supported by the City and the Lazio Region.
