2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of Un Macello di Libri was held from February 8 to April 5, during the weekends of February, March, and April, in the setting of the monumental Ex Macello complex in Paternò, on Via Fonte Maimonide. Organized by the Presidio Partecipativo del Patto di Fiume Simeto and the Circolo Letterario Pennagramma, with the patronage of the Municipality of Paternò, the festival hosted twelve Sicilian writers from the Pennagramma Circle, including Mario Cunsolo, Cirino Cristaldi, Antonio Sozzi, Francesco Manna, Rosalda Schillaci, Tino La Vecchia, Giorgio Ciancitto, Salvatore Di Maria, Clelia Zarbà, Carmen Coco, Dario Scardaci, and Maurizio Damiano. The initiative was part of the Coltiviamo Bellezza project, dedicated to the redevelopment and revitalization of the Ex Macello area.
