Edition 2025 — Un Lago di Presepi

The tenth edition of Un Lago di Presepi took place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Piazza Carpello, on the shores of Lake Posta Fibreno. Thirteen diving associations displayed their nativity scenes on the shore before lowering them to the lakebed, about five meters deep. After the presentation of commemorative plaques and the blessing, the divers plunged into the icy, crystal-clear waters of the reserve. The nativity scenes remained visible until January 31, 2026.

The tenth edition

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, Posta Fibreno celebrated the tenth anniversary of Un Lago di Presepi, the Christmas event managed by the AssoScuba association together with the Municipality and the Lago di Posta Fibreno Regional Nature Reserve.

The day opened at 10:00 AM in Piazza Carpello with the gathering of the thirteen participating diving associations and the public exhibition of the nativity scenes, all made with non-polluting materials. At 11:30 AM, commemorative plaques were presented to the groups, while at 12:00 PM, the blessing of the nativity scenes took place. At 12:30 PM, the most anticipated moment arrived: the divers' immersion and the positioning of the works on platforms located about five meters deep.

The nativity scenes then remained on the lakebed, visible to everyone on clear days, until January 31, 2026.

Programme

10:00 AM: Gathering of diving associations and exhibition of nativity scenes in Piazza Carpello. 11:30 AM: Presentation of commemorative plaques to participating associations. 12:00 PM: Blessing of the nativity scenes. 12:30 PM: Immersion and positioning of the nativity scenes on the lakebed, about five meters deep. The nativity scenes remained visible until January 31, 2026.
