Edition 2025 — Umbria Jazz

The 2025 edition of Umbria Jazz took place in Perugia from July 11 to 20, with ten days of great music at the Arena Santa Giuliana and the Teatro Morlacchi. Absolute stars were the voices: Angélique Kidjo, Dianne Reeves, Samara Joy, Ledisi, Gregory Porter, and Kurt Elling, alongside pop stars like Lionel Richie and Mika, and jazz legends Herbie Hancock, Kamasi Washington, Stefano Bollani, and Candy Dulfer.

The 2025 edition of Umbria Jazz animated Perugia from July 11 to 20, confirming the successful formula of major concerts at the Arena Santa Giuliana, authorial programming at the Teatro Morlacchi, and numerous free events in the historic center.

At the Arena Santa Giuliana, voices took center stage: from Angélique Kidjo, Dianne Reeves, Samara Joy, and Ledisi to Gregory Porter and Kurt Elling with the Yellowjackets, alongside the already anticipated Lionel Richie and Mika. Among the jazz greats were Herbie Hancock, Kamasi Washington, Stefano Bollani with a new band, and Candy Dulfer, as well as the young Thee Sacred Souls and Patagarri.

At the Teatro Morlacchi, top-tier performers like Isaiah Collier, Sullivan Fortner, Johnathan Blake, Jazzmeia Horn, and Immanuel Wilkins presented their sets, with tributes to Oscar Peterson and Ray Brown.
