Edition 2025 — Umberto Borsò Prize

The second edition of the Umberto Borsò International Opera Singing Competition took place from January 18 to 20, 2025, in Castelfiorentino, with the final held on Monday, January 20, at the Teatro del Popolo. 110 young opera singers competed. The First Prize went to soprano Antonella Granata, in an evening that confirmed the competition's rapid rise in the international opera scene.

The second edition of the Umberto Borsò International Opera Singing Competition was held in Castelfiorentino from January 18 to 20, 2025, with the final on Monday, January 20, at the Teatro del Popolo. 110 young opera singers of various nationalities participated.

The "Umberto Borsò" First Prize was awarded to soprano Antonella Granata; the Second Prize to bass Alberto Comes, who also won the "City of Castelfiorentino" Audience Award. The Third Prize ex aequo went to bass Agostino Subacchi and tenor Lee Kiup. The "Cianti-Orselli" Foundation prize was awarded to soprano Giorgia Costantino, while the "Ferruccio Busoni" Musical Study Center prize went to bass Minsu Kim and baritone Nicola Farnesi. The "Puccini Voice" prize was won by tenor David Soto Zambrana.
