Edition 2025 — UTGS
Ultra Trail Gran Sasso 2025
The fifth edition of the Ultra Trail Gran Sasso was held on July 12 and 13, 2025, in Prati di Tivo, in the municipality of Pietracamela, Teramo province, confirming itself as one of the reference events for high-mountain trail running in Abruzzo.
The program included four races starting and finishing in Prati di Tivo:
- UTGS100 — Ultra Trail Gran Sasso: 108.8 km with 6,820 m of positive elevation gain, held on Saturday, July 12;
- UTGS65 — Gran Trail Corno Grande: 63.4 km with 4,060 m of elevation gain;
- UTGS30 — Tre Rifugi Skyrace: 31.7 km with 2,070 m of elevation gain;
- UTGS15 — Pietracamela Trail: 16.7 km with 1,080 m of elevation gain.
Organized by Associazione Sportiva Eclipse with La Sportiva as the main sponsor, the event brought Italian and international athletes to the trails of the Gran Sasso, with the longer races qualifying for the UTMB Index.
