Edition 2025 — Uè - Urban Events

The 2025 edition of Uè - Urban Events took place in the area of the former Benedictine convent in Gela's historic center. A fundamental step in the urban regeneration path started by the Civico 111 association, during which the murals that still characterize the festival spaces today were created, and around which the basketball playground was built in the following edition.

The 2025 edition of Uè - Urban Events confirmed the festival's formula as an engine for the regeneration of Gela's historic center, in the province of Caltanissetta. The spaces of the former Benedictine convent hosted the event's activities, with the creation of murals and street art pieces that permanently marked the festival's locations.

Those very works became the frame around which, in the 2026 edition, the basketball playground was inaugurated: a sign of the project's continuity and its ability to progressively transform the city's spaces. Organized by the Civico 111 association, the 2025 edition intertwined urban art, culture, and the participation of the local community.
