IPER Festival of the Peripheries 2025

The fourth edition of the IPER Festival of the Peripheries took place in Rome from May 2 to May 28, 2025, under the title «Urbs et Orbis. Rome and the others: cities in the mirror». Produced by the Museum of the Peripheries under the artistic direction of Giorgio de Finis, the festival spanned numerous locations across the city with a widespread format, involving the Quadraro neighborhood among others.

The project was created to make the Museum of the Peripheries—still under construction and the first museum in Rome outside the Grande Raccordo Anulare—"appear," and to reflect on the transformations of the city and its margins through exhibitions, talks, screenings, and artistic interventions.
