Edition 2025 — U Signuruzzu a Cavaddu

The 2025 edition kicked off on Sunday, April 13, Palm Sunday, with the traditional «U Signuruzzu a Cavaddu» procession. The procession started at 10:00 AM from Piazza Cappuccini, passing through the Church of San Domenico, the SS. Annunziata Parish, and the San Giorgio Martire Parish, with Sunday Mass. In the evening, at 7:30 PM, the Sacred Representation was held at the Duomo, under the artistic direction of the Passion of Christ group.

In 2025, «U Signuruzzu a Cavaddu» took place on Sunday, April 13, Palm Sunday. The procession started at 10:00 AM from Piazza Cappuccini: a child dressed as a «russuliddu» rode a donkey decorated with flowers and drapes, accompanied by drummers, the Caccamo City Band, and flag-wavers, with children carrying palms and olive branches.

The procession visited the Church of San Domenico, the SS. Annunziata Parish, and the San Giorgio Martire Parish, where Holy Mass was celebrated. In the evening, at 7:30 PM, the Duomo hosted the Sacred Representation of the Passion, under the artistic direction of Dario Spatafora, with the «Passion of Christ» group. Celebrations continued throughout Holy Week until Easter on April 20.
