Edition 2025 — 'U Carnevàle de 'na Vòte

The 11th edition of 'U Carnevàle de 'na Vòte was held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in the Old Town of Taranto, with a gathering at 5:30 PM. The traditional Taranto Carnival animated the ancient district with a parade of folk masks and the ancient ritual of the Carnival funeral, featuring dialect satire, music, and collective participation.

The eleventh edition of 'U Carnevàle de 'na Vòte took place on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in the Old Town of Taranto, with a gathering at 5:30 PM. In 2025, the masked procession once again wound through the streets of the ancient district with the typical figures of the Taranto Carnival, folk music, and the clatter of pots and tambourines, concluding with the allegorical funeral of the Carnival, 'A Muérte 'u Tàte. The event, organized by Tarantinídion APS with the Pro Loco and historic center associations, confirmed its role as an identity-driven ritual in defense of the language and folk culture of Taranto, in Puglia.
