Edition 2025 — Tuscany Crossing

The 12th edition of Tuscany Crossing took place in April 2025, with over 1,200 athletes at the start in the Val d'Orcia. Alessandro Roncato and Alice Capponi triumphed in the 160 km race, while Carlo Salvetti and Giulia Vinco won the 103 km. A weekend of non-stop sport among the clay hills, villages, and Sienese landscapes, rewarded by beautiful weather.

Tuscany Crossing 2025 — the 12th edition

The twelfth edition of Tuscany Crossing attracted over 1,200 athletes to the Val d'Orcia, with the start and finish in Castiglione d'Orcia (Siena). The beautiful weather allowed runners and walkers to fully enjoy the beauty of the territory and local hospitality along the 160, 103, and 53 km distances.

In the 160 km race, victory went to Alessandro Roncato (19:13:34) among the men and Alice Capponi (24:19:29) among the women. In the 103 km, Carlo Salvetti (9:22:56) and Giulia Vinco triumphed. The edition confirmed Tuscany Crossing as one of the reference events in Italian trail running and the IUTA calendar.
