Tuglie Excellence Awards

The 8th edition of the Tuglie Excellence Awards was held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 8:30 PM, in Piazzale Montegrappa in Tuglie, with free admission. The evening, hosted by journalists Mario Vecchio and Federica Sabato, honored local figures such as university researcher Luciano Micali, hair stylist Giovanni Erroi, and Sara Teresa Toma, alongside numerous stars of local sports, from cycling to dance, tennis to equestrianism. Among the guests was Professor Daniele Manni, recognized with the Global Teacher Award. As per tradition, the event supported the Telethon Foundation: in previous editions, the Tuglie community had already raised over 4,300 euros for research into rare genetic diseases.
