Edition 2025 — Tufo Chestnut Festival
2025 Chestnut Festival — 17th Edition
The seventeenth edition of the Chestnut Festival was held in Tufo di Carsoli on October 18 and 19, 2025. On Saturday, the event opened at 6:00 PM with the artisan market, followed at 7:00 PM by food stalls in Piazza San Rocco serving a trio of soups, pallotte cacio e ova, beans with sausages, and arrosticini; the evening was enlivened by the roving music of Li Matti de Montecò and the Ballo della Pupazza. On Sunday, after the market reopened at 10:00 AM, lunch was served in the square at noon with polenta, sausage, and arrosticini, accompanied by the Smile Street Band and roasted chestnuts in Piazza San Giuseppe. A two-day celebration of tradition, flavors, and community in the Abruzzese village.
