52nd edition of the Tronzano Carnival

In 2025, the Tronzano Carnival, now in its 52nd edition, enlivened the village of Tronzano Vercellese from March 14 to 16. The festival opened on Friday with the masks' visit to the schools and the handing over of the keys at the Town Hall square, followed by the parade towards the former Albergo del Sole and the dance evening.

Saturday was dedicated to gastronomic tradition, with the gathering of the Fasulat at dawn at the Area Fontana, the blessing and distribution of the beans, and the famous Bean Lunch, before the arrival of His Majesty the Babaciu and the night parade. On Sunday, after Holy Mass, the afternoon parade, children's dance, and awards ceremony preceded the final burning of the Babaciu, the seal of the festival according to Tronzano tradition.
