Trofeo Città di Nola 2025: a record-breaking edition

The eleventh edition of the Trofeo Città di Nola was held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM from the Vulcano Buono shopping center in Nola, in the province of Naples. The surge in entries recorded in the preceding weeks — over 1,400 registered — confirmed the event as one of the most popular end-of-season races in Campania, with 1,240 athletes crossing the finish line.

In the men's field, Moroccan athlete Yahya Kadiri (Carmax Camaldolese) won, setting a new course record of 28'46", ahead of Yassine Zaki (29'25") and Hicham Boufars. In the women's field, Francesca Palomba (Caivano Runners) took the win in 34'38", followed by Annamaria Naddeo and Filomena Palomba.

The organization, managed by ASD Atletica Nolana with the support of the Municipality of Nola, the Metropolitan City of Naples, CONI, and FIDAL, dedicated a moment of silence to the memory of Brigadier Carmine Notaro, who passed away during the previous edition while on duty for race security.
