Trofarello Amarena Cherry Festival

The 27th edition of the Trofarello Amarena Cherry Festival was held from June 5 to 9, 2025, at Piazzale Europa, near the station, with free admission and stands active every evening from 7:00 PM to midnight. The festival alternated culinary offerings and dance evenings: Thursday the 5th with the Salento pizzica of the group FMS Frammenti Salentine, Friday the 6th with ballroom dancing by the I Roeri orchestra, Saturday the 7th with DJ sets, salsa and bachata lessons, and Brazilian samba, and Sunday the 8th with dance schools and DJ Carlo Peruffo. On Sunday morning, there was also a walk through the Amarena orchards with visits to producers, a market, and an Amarena-themed aperitif. The event concluded on Monday the 9th with the traditional election of Miss Amarena.
