Trieste Film Festival

The thirty-sixth edition of the Trieste Film Festival was held in January 2025, reprising the established format that has made it the most important Italian festival dedicated to Eastern European cinema. Across the venues of Politeama Rossetti, Teatro Miela, and Cinema Ambasciatori, competitions for feature films, documentaries, and short films, Italian premieres, and meetings with directors and producers from across Central and Eastern Europe took place.

Organized by Alpe Adria Cinema with the support of the Municipality of Trieste and the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, the edition confirmed Trieste as a prime crossroads for Eastern cinematographies and the Italian audience.
