Edition 2025 — Trick or Treat Garbatella

On Friday, October 31, 2025, Garbatella renewed its most beloved tradition for children: the "trick or treat" tour through the neighborhood shops. Costumed families walked through the streets and historic blocks, knocking on shop doors and being welcomed by merchants with candies and small gifts. Among the most anticipated stops was the Pane Garbato bakery, featuring face painting and homemade sweets.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, Halloween fell on Friday, October 31st, giving Romans a long weekend of celebrations across neighborhoods and venues. In Garbatella, the occasion maintained its most authentic character: no big events, just an afternoon of community with costumed children and parents roaming the district.

Merchants welcomed young visitors with treats and small gifts. The Pane Garbato bakery, on Circonvallazione Ostiense, hosted a dedicated afternoon with face painting by a local makeup artist, homemade sweets, and its chocolate chip sticks, now a classic for local residents. The same initiatives were offered at the brand's other locations in the Tuscolana area and in Ladispoli.

Participation was free and open to all, as is customary for this neighborhood celebration in Rome's Municipio VIII.
