Edition 2025 — Tresiano Carnival

In 2025, the Tresiano Carnival once again enlivened Lavena Ponte Tresa with its symbolic masks, King Guzz and Queen Piota. Amidst cauldron lighting, piazza lunches, allegorical float parades, and evening dances, the festival confirmed its role as one of the most beloved carnivals in the Varese area.

The 2025 edition of the Tresiano Carnival brought back to Lavena Ponte Tresa the tradition of King Guzz and Queen Piota, the sovereign masks that preside over the festival each year. The lighting of the cauldrons, lunches in the piazza with typical dishes, and parades enlivened the village on the Swiss border.

The grand parade of allegorical floats, with the handover and return of the city keys in Piazza Europa, concluded a well-attended and colourful festival, confirming the Tresiano Carnival among the most important events in the region.
