8th edition: the word «Responsibility»

In 2025, the Treccani Italian Language Festival chose «Responsibility» as the keyword for its Roman stage, starting from the idea that the condition of individuals and citizens in a globally interconnected community requires continuous reflection. The theme was addressed from multiple perspectives: linguistic, historical, literary, artistic, and scientific.

The program, spread over two days in Piazza Damiano Sauli in Garbatella, alternated meetings, concerts, performances, and workshops. Among the protagonists were Carmen Lasorella, Antonella Palmisano, Raffaella Scarpa, Paolo Mattera, and the artist Alice Pasquini, along with workshops for children featuring Mickey Mouse. The musical part was entrusted to the Roma Tre Orchestra ensemble, while the film section featured a screening of The Traitor by Marco Bellocchio. As always, admission was entirely free.
