Edition 2025 — Traversella Carnival

In 2025, Traversella renewed its popular Carnival during the carnival season, with the traditional Badul and Badula masks taking center stage in the streets of the Valchiusella village. The festival confirmed its intimate and authentic character, an expression of alpine traditions and the identity of the Baduj in the Metropolitan City of Turin.

The 2025 edition of the Traversella Carnival brought the village of Valchiusella, in the province of Turin, to life during the carnival season. Once again, the traditional Badul and Badula masks led the festivities, renewing the Baduj community's bond with their roots.

The event took place in the spirit of the small alpine carnivals of the Canavese, featuring entertainment, music, and moments of conviviality for residents and visitors alike, in a village with a rich mining and mountain history.
