TravelEtna – Tourism Fair

The first edition of TravelEtna debuted on May 10 and 11, 2025, at the Teatro Comunale Palmento Arena in Ragalna, in the province of Catania. The event transformed the small town into the capital of Etna tourism for a weekend, gathering over 30 tour operators and about 400 travel agents from all over Italy.

The event, promoted in collaboration with the Municipality of Ragalna, the ARS, the EMT, ARPA Sicilia, and the Sicily Region, was held over two days: Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Among the activities, the ARPA Sicilia space was dedicated to marine and terrestrial biodiversity, featuring immersive headsets from the CORALLO project. Mayor Nino Caruso attended the ceremony, reaffirming the ambition to make Ragalna a tourism hub for the volcano.
