Edition 2025 — Transumando

The 25th edition of Transumando took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in the Biella area, with the historical transhumance starting on Saturday, May 24, from Brusnengo. The routes crossed Camandona, Bocchetto Sessera, and Alpe Campelli, offering three itineraries of varying difficulty amidst pastures, herds, and mountain flavors.

The twenty-fifth edition of Transumando, celebrated in May 2025, marked a quarter-century of this Biellese pastoral tradition. The "historical" transhumance set off on Saturday, May 24, at 9:00 PM from Brusnengo, covering a route of approximately 35 km with an arrival on Sunday at Alpe Campelli, passing through Pianezze, Alpe Marchetta, Bocchetto Sessera, and Piana del Ponte. Alongside this, the "Sunday Transhumance" (12 km) and the "Transhumance for All" (5 km) headed toward the Agriturismo Moncerchio. The event also featured a market of local products at Bocchetto Sessera, musical performances, guided tours of mining archaeological sites, and free access to the Museum of Transhumance in Valdilana. An edition organized by DocBi - Centro Studi Biellesi with Oasi Zegna, FAI, and CAI.
