Trame Sacre a Santa Barbara

The opening of Trame Sacre a Santa Barbara, at the end of 2025, marked the beginning of an exhibition set to continue throughout 2026. In the matroneum of the Church of Santa Barbara, in San Donato Milanese, sixteen contemporary art tapestries dedicated to religious, biblical, and evangelical themes were installed.

The exhibition, curated by Giacinto Di Pietrantonio and presented for the church's 70th anniversary, brings together works by international artists such as Stefano Arienti, Vanessa Beecroft, and Michelangelo Pistoletto, in a rare dialogue between contemporary art and faith set in a living place of worship in the Metanopoli district.
