Trail del Crocefisso

The 7th edition of the Trail del Crocefisso, held in February 2025 in Taurisano (LE), represented one of the most anticipated events on the Apulian trail scene. This edition held special significance as it hosted the FIDAL Puglia Regional Trail Championship, in addition to being the opening stage of the Puglia Trail circuit.

Approximately 300 runners, including elite athletes and amateurs, took to the usual 17.5 km loop through the countryside and olive groves of lower Salento. The organization, managed by the Gruppo Podistico Alba 13 Taurisano, confirmed the format that combines a competitive race and a non-competitive walk, consolidating the event as one of the benchmarks for trail running in Salento.
