Tradizionale Gara sugli Sci di Legno e Raviolata di Ferragosto

The 2025 edition of the wooden ski race took place on August 16th at the Centro Sportivo Don Pala in Gandellino (BG), in the upper Val Seriana. The evening began with the Ferragosto raviolata (appetizer, casoncelli, and coffee), followed by the competition with the original handmade wooden skis from 1989, contested in teams. Registrations for the race were collected starting at 8:30 PM. The event was part of the village's Ferragosto weekend, completed by the "Parà sul Serio" event with paratroopers.
