Edition 2025 — St. John's Bonfires
In 2025, the St. John's Bonfires once again illuminated the hamlets of Épinel and Gimillan, above Cogne, on the night of June 24. Around the bonfires, amidst food, wine, and the music of local accordionists, one of the valley's oldest and most cherished traditions was relived.
In 2025, the Traditional St. John's Bonfires renewed the appointment with the summer solstice in the hamlets of Cogne. At sunset on June 24, the bonfires lit in Épinel and Gimillan drew residents and visitors around the flames, for an evening of local flavors and accordion music. A centuries-old rite that continues to keep alive the memory and community spirit of the Aosta Valley.
